Go barefoot with me – National Barefoot Week June 1-7!

barefoot

June 1-7 is our National Barefoot Week as I have written about before. Again I am amazed the levels of participation we have received for our charity and especially our second Barefoot Week. One of the highlights of the week is many news reporters, hosts and radio personalities will be barefoot for Soles4Souls. This will engage people in our charity and get them plugged into what we are all about, Changing the World One pair at a Time.

I will be barefoot the entire week for the cause and several days will have film crews follow me around barefoot to get into the “Life of the Founder/CEO” of Soles4Souls. This will be an interesting feat – no pun intended for the charity and I. But it is a small price to pay for the 300 Million children around the world that have no shoes. Last year, when I walked Barefoot with DASH, it really opened my eyes further – the grass was comfortable, the pebbles hurt, the paint on the road was refreshing to the asphalt, etc. Try it and see what I mean. I will never forget that experience because the elements that I experienced were very similar to life – sometime it is smooth, rough, rocky and you even bump your toe.

So join the movement and join the Millions of people around the world during National Barefoot Week.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve the hurting with the gift of shoes!
